We still cannot believe how lucky we are to have discovered Loft King and we are very happy to recommend them to anyone. They built a whole new floor on top of our existing flat, including a bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a big landing, and also did some interior work for us on the old flat.

Not only are we delighted with the results, but the Loft King team were wonderful to work with from the moment we first met George, right through to the last niggling details that always follow a project of this scale. Throughout the build they were professional but warm, considerate, generous, hard-working, scrupulously honest and straight-forward. Nothing was too big, complicated or small a problem for them to deal with and they took full responsibility for anything within their remit.

They smoothed things over with our long-suffering neighbours before, during and after the build. They dealt with the council when we received an (inaccurate and unfounded) complaint. In short, they went out of their way to ensure that we were happy and pleased with their work but are also able to say no if they felt that something was not their responsibility. In the 8 weeks that they were at our house, they were always respectful, cheerful and sweet to our toddler daughter and our cat. Ridiculous though it sounds, when they left, we actually missed them.

From start to finish Loft King left its mark and showed that it was different from the pack. A £1000 deposit (other companies were asking for 10%!), detailed budget/quote, diligent work, courteous workmen, helpful/guiding construction team and a company that actually speaks the same language as the client. Best of all – proved all our friends wrong and finished ON TIME. A big thank you!

Following all the horror stories you normally hear about builders and refurbishment projects, we were very pleasantly surprised with our experience with Loft King. George was courteous and professional throughout, always on hand to help and advise and even attended the property a number of times with a surveyor even before we contracted him to do the job. Sam and his team did a great job and we are very pleased with our new loft. We would have no hesitation to recommend Loft King to others—our friends are amazed at how smoothly it all went! There are always small hitches with projects such as ours but thanks to George’s calm manner these were kept to a minimum! In all, we are very grateful and Loft King does the building trade proud.
